MISSION STATEMENT
My purpose is to address your health concerns swiftly and cost effectively. To accomplish this, I work in 60 minute appointments. This time frame allows me to accomplish the necessary work to minimize recidivism and maximize response to care. My goal is to identify the causative factor(s) and return your body, mind and spirit to optimal health.

- The office is located in the Domingo Ave shopping complex which is directly in front of the Berkeley tennis club and Claremont Hotel. Our office is upstairs above Peets Coffee adjacent to Rick & Ann's restaurant
- The main cross streets are AshbyAve, Claremont Avenue and Russell Street

- From Berkeley/Oakland: take Hwy 24 East and merge onto I-680 North toward Concord/Sacramento. Exit at Ygnacio Valley Rd. Turn left on Ygnacio Valley Rd, go under the BART tracks and take an immediate right into the BART parking lot, just before the freeway overpass. At the third stop sign (Pringle Ave) continue straight. The road becomes Riviera Ave. Continue straight ahead 2 more blocks. HMC is on your left, behind the 3 mailboxes.
- From Pleasant Hill / Concord / Sacramento: Take I-680 South, take North Main Street Exit, staying to the right which becomes North Main Street heading South. Follow N. Main Street South to Parkside Drive, and turn right. Take your first left onto Riviera Avenue.
HMC is one block ahead on the right, behind the 3 postal mailboxes.
- From San Francisco: take I-80 East across the Bay Bridge. Merge on I-580 East toward Hwy 24, and merge onto Hwy 24. Now, follow the 'from Oakland' directions, below.
- Using B.A.R.T. Public Transportation: Get off at the Walnut Creek Station. Exit the station on the West (parking garage) side. Walk past the parking lot garage (behind Bart) to the street and turn right toward Pringle Avenue. Continue straight as the road becomes Riviera Avenue. HMC is on the left about 2 blocks down on your left, behind the 3 mailboxes.
Health Medicine Center
HMC is an integrated health care facility at 1620 Riviera Ave Walnut Creek 94596. The center is comprised of several practitioners all working in a single location to offer conventional, complementary and alternative health care. It is an opportunity for me to work with my colleagues in a unique collaborative fashion.
Some of the immediate benefits you will enjoy are, proximity, prompt assistance with insurance billing, full time staff, and ease of parking. This unique situation will allow for immediate consultation(s) and access to additional health care providers when needed. Additionally, when medical laboratory or radiological imaging studies are required, or a medical doctor referral for health insurance coverage is needed these services will now be available. The medical director of HMC is Dr. Len Saputo an internist with 35 years of medical experience. Dr. Saputo is affiliated with John Muir hospital, has had a private practice and created Health Medicine Forum in 1994. Health Medicine Forum is an education and information exchange of Complementary and Alternative Medicine for both the practitioner and public and it became a clinical reality as Health Medicine Institute in 2001.

My philosophy and techniques remain the same, to offer optimal healthcare in a swift and efficient manner at reasonable health care costs. My schedule in Walnut Creek will be Thursdays. My Berkeley office hours will be Wednesday and Saturday.
